How to Properly Learn Tarot: Are Teachers and Schools Necessary?
I’ll keep this as brief as possible, without the fluff.
For working with Tarot, first and foremost, you need powerful intuition, so you must develop it. You need strong energy, which means you must know how to amplify it and not waste it on trivial things. Practice exercises to expand your consciousness.
Having the support of your Ancestors (your Lineage) is mandatory. If your Lineage has not granted you access to this knowledge, no teacher or school will help you. However, if you receive their «consent» and train the skills mentioned above, then you don't need any teachers or schools.
If you simply memorize card meanings and work strictly by the book, it won't work—it will just be a deception. Often, the textbook meanings don't even align with what you feel from the card or the person.
Tarot is a supporting tool, but the source of knowledge and power must be you.
