Hello. Although my father is deceased and I have not cared for him for many years, I am curious about why he seemed perplexed and bothered that I ghosted him since I was a kid. He never wanted nor - question #17054
loved me and was incredibly cruel to me in a way that would make the average person go insane so why did he care? Why wasn't he happy I was gone? Did he really «forget» all he had done to me?

Why wasn't he happy that you left ?..When they take away the doll he plays with ,which he can beat up ,cuddle ,or do whatever he wants with… there's only one step between love and cruelty, and that's the step your father took .That's why he wasn't happy about your leaving .He needed energy… your energy, which, once he had his feel of it, made him feel really good.
