Can someone please offer any insight or guidance regarding my children and what the near future may hold for them? My children currently live full-time with their father and stepmother. Over the - question #17754

years, this has been an incredibly difficult situation for both them and me. A few years ago, their father was awarded custody under circumstances that I have always felt were unfair, and it has been a painful journey ever since. Despite the heartbreak, I have done my best to remain positive, stay true to my character, and approach everything with love, patience, and grace. I truly believe that when we continue to do the right thing, the truth eventually finds its way to the surface. Lately, I have been hearing concerns, and some of those concerns align with things my children have shared with me directly. They often tell me they do not like going back home, that they do not feel loved, and that they struggle emotionally in their current environment. Hearing this as their mother is heartbreaking. I have also been told that their stepmother can be very unkind toward them.One concern that weighs heavily on me involves spiritual matters. I have been told that my children’s stepmother is skilled in black magic, and engages in dark rituals. I sometimes feel as though their father is in a drained trance like state. There are moments when it seems like he has become emotionally distant, disconnected, or influenced in ways that are difficult for me to understand. I cannot ignore the uneasy feeling it gives me when I look at everything that has unfolded. Recently, I have felt a strong sense that circumstances may be shifting. I cannot explain it fully, but I feel that things that have been hidden are beginning to come to light. I have also wondered if there may come a time when their father decides he no longer wants the responsibility of caring for them full-time or that they may eventually spend more time with me. I would appreciate any thoughts, guidance, or perspective on what may be ahead. For reference, here are my children’s names and birthdays, listed from oldest to youngest: Cherish — October 3, 2011 Jerron — September 16, 2017 Brennin — January 1, 2020 Annalise — February 14, 2021 Their father is Ron, born December 7, 1988. His wife’s name is Jessica, though I do not know her birthdate. More than anything, I want my children to feel safe, loved, supported, and valued. I continue to keep hope in my heart, focus on positive energy, pray for their protection, and do everything I can to support them from a distance.
