Unfortunately,Jordan is a military man and he has a military upbringing,and it is very difficult for him to be a civilian and calmly conduct a conversation.Perhaps when he gets out of there and is among civilians,he will not behave like that.

You need to accept him as he is, he is a military man and it is already a force of habit to communicate with you in a commanding voice. When he leaves military service he will become more gentle in communication.
